FAQ

When are your Sunday services?
We are meeting at 10am for coffee and refreshments at Live Oak Elementary. Our worship service starts at 1030am and ends around
11:45 or so.

We also have a college/high-school gathering that meets at Live Oak at 5 PM on Sunday evenings.

What denomination are you?
We are a non-denominational church that is "baptistic" in nature in that we have aligned our doctrinal beliefs with
the Baptist faith and message.  We promote a balanced freedom of worship with sound Bible teaching.

What do we wear to Greenbriar?
We wear casual clothes. You can wear jeans and a t-shirt or a three piece suit. It really doesn't matter to us.
We just ask that you don't wear anything revealing or inappropriate.  (If you have to ask your husband, "Is
this too revealing to wear to church?" Don't wear it.)

Do you have anything for kids?
Infants, toddlers and children ages 0 to 5 are a part of our BriarPatch Nursey on Sunday mornings.
Children in grades K-5th join our 252 Basics Program. Following the music portion of our Sunday morning service,
the kids leave with our children's ministry leaders to take part in their own teaching and activities that are age/
grade specific.

Are you looking for a building?
Currently we are NOT looking for a building. God has blessed us with the privilege of using Live Oak Elementary
School on Gillionville Road to meet on Sunday mornings. Updates to this will be announced through our services
and through church communication.

What kind of music?
Our music is contemporary praise and worship. We may sing some hymns, but they will be in
contemporary form.

Do you have Sunday School?
Not currently. We meet in LifeGroups during the week for our small group setting.

Do you have a nursery?
Yes. Infants, toddlers and children ages 0 to 5 are a part of our BriarPatch Nursey on Sunday mornings.

Do you have a mid-week service?
Not as is common in most churches. Our midweek ministries are called LifeGroups. Our adult LifeGroup, The Cove
meets he 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month at 7 PM, at the home of Dud and Dana Hardin. For more information, email Dud and Dana at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

Our student ministry LifeGroups meet during the week as well. For more information, e-mail Mike Brooks at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
