TJ Mauldin

Associate Pastor

"In the presence of a completely holy and satisfying God, there are no questions, no assumptions, and no misinterpretations.  There is one undeniable truth; He is more than I am and I am called to make much of that - to spend myself in anticipation of His return; His ultimate rescue.  There are no words to do Him justice and He needs no introduction.  He is the Peace Giver, the King of Kings, the Reason, the Rhyme, the Rescue, and the only reason I am able to write this short bit of truth.  His death on the cross and resurrection from the dead made me free, cleaned me up, and wiped my bill clean.  There is none like Him.  He is transcendent.  He is my Christ, my God… He is.  I am TJ Mauldin, and I am completely consumed with His everlasting love and relentless pursuit of His people.  I am also blessed to be here."

There are some people who leave impressions not so lasting as the
imprint of an oar upon the water. - Kate Chopin

I won't matter many years from now, but the one I serve will.  It is for Christ that we live.  It is not music that drives me, nor is it my wife, Jill, or my church (though I love all these things).  It is for Christ that I breathe.  I don't have it all together, but I am not like the world either.  I have been changed.  I have been blessed with a great job working for a southern/contemporary radio station (90.7) in Albany, GA.  I am a newly-wed. My wife Jill and I have been married since October. I am also a college minister at Greenbriar Church and I play drums during Sunday morning service.

Let us enjoy this day, but do not waste that joy on yourself.  Give this day to God, expecting nothing in return.  He has already given His son. Put your hands up in response to His love and not His hand.  See you soon.
