The Bible teaches that baptism is the first thing a person should do after making a commitment to Jesus Christ. Many people have questions about baptism: Is baptism really necessary? Baptism is an outward expression of an individual's inward change. The act of baptism DOES NOT save an individual, it is only symbolic of salvation. Because it is a symbol, we believe baptisms strictly for those who have professed a belief in Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.
